the Umbrella

I don't know how Jordan and I got started taking these umbrella photos every summer. I think I bought the umbrella thinking it might be a cute prop for our engagement pictures (and who doesn't love a giant rainbow umbrella anyway?!) and then it just became something we tried to do once a summer. I also really love seeing family portrait series that span years like this one or this one or this one.

So here are the five we've had taken over the last five summers.

I love that Jordan is wearing the same shirt in the last two pictures and I clearly have a solid-color v-neck trend going on. And yeah, we're not as young or thin as we were five years ago, but who cares.
